Our vision

Our mission

MasterPeace wants to inspire everyone to use his or her talent and energy for building peace and togetherness. This will lead to a more sustainable world with less armed conflict. Our vision, mission and guidelines for all our activities are reflected in what we call our Passion Statement: “We are dedicated to put, Music above fighting, Dialogue above judgment, Bread above bombs and Creation above Destruction. That’s MasterPeace”.

Who we are

MasterPeace is an innovative, bottom-up global peace movement, as a result of East-West cooperation, supported by NGOs, companies, cities, artists, media and social entrepreneurs from all over the world. We are an open and inviting movement in which everyone is encouraged to use his or her talents and energy for peace building, either by starting your own initiative, supporting other`s initiatives or taking part in one or more of MasterPeace initiatives. MasterPeace develops several attractive global peace-building initiatives such as ‘MasterPeace Clubs’, ‘MasterPeace Alchemist alive’, ‘MasterPeace in Concert’ and many other local initiatives using innovative campaigning, this platform, social media, local and global events and especially art and music to promote dialogue, development and disarmament as an engaging sustainable way to prevent armed conflict.
Along with MasterPeace global and local initiatives, MasterPeace will organize the most heartwarming peace concert on the 21st of September 2014, theInternational Day of Peace, ‘MasterPeace in Concert’, where artists from all over the world will perform to fuel dialogue, celebrate diversity and at the same time focus the world’s attention on what we all share: the longing for a sustainable world with less armed conflicts. The concert will be an exclusive rewardfor people who actively supported peace-building activities in the years before the International Day of Peace 2014. Our aim is to mobilize millions of people worldwide to take actions for peace in the broadest sense. We are currently present in more than forty countries and counting – including many (former) conflict areas like Afghanistan, Colombia, Sierra Leone, and Nepal –  engaging thousands of volunteers within our grassroots movement.
